It has been observed that most people put a password on table after writing on a page or put it under the mouse pad or keyboard and the worst thing is that sometimes people stick the page on which they have written the password on the monitor. And if you do one of these, it is equivalent to sharing your password publicly. And like this anyone who can reach your computer or table can access your password easily.

Don’t tell your password to anyone even if he is asking it or has been asking for a long time. And be aware of one more thing in this regard which is social engineering. Normally in this they ask for your personal information or your passwords through phone calls or email. Be especially wary of these tactics because you can receive this type of calls or mails from people which will show that they are the workers of those institutions you also use the services of for example internet service provider, email, your bank or the company in which you work as well.

Don’t ever give any type of information to this type of email or phone call, whether or how authentic they look. To identify this type of mail or something is that they will instantly ask for your private info and say that if you’ll not provide any info to them, they will give you threats of dire consequences. Many software provides you with the facility of making your password safe, their aim is to help the users. For this purpose, different software uses different types of procedures.
